Bluestones staffing IT division has been acquired buy a Global organisation based in Vienna to recruit an experienced It Project Manager (German essential) due to restructure.

Job Purpose:

Accountable for managing technical and business aspects and whole BM software implementation projects. Account management (incl. sales, securing client budget, internal testing before client delivery, managing of project team, preparation work for invoicing (approval, project progress documentation)) and technical consultancy for service managers with regard to client CRs, client and standard implementations. Requirements engineering, documentation and specification of requested changes and solutions for development team to follow up. Meet/exceed client expectations and managing customer relations.

Fact and Figures:

To deliver contractual obligations to the client within a designated timeline to provide additional revenue to the business by sales of new products/ product modules and client adapted requests. Ensuring coverage of project from technical and business point of view. Responsible for capturing and reviewing the planned costs v budgeted costs within a project, set up and control of project plan and costs as well as hand over work packages to development and business implementation and internal testing.

Principal Accountabilities:

§  Engage in advance preparation, to identify clients’ needs through written and verbal consultation

§  Ensure thorough documentation of product and process inconsistencies/ issues/software concerns for follow-up and/or resolution by programming staff

§  Actively participate in required team meetings and provide feedback and updates to the team

§  Actively participate in ensuring the project is on schedule and on budget and stays within scope

§  Identify & document potential risks and issues and in conjunction with the project team determine mitigation strategies

§  Participate in the on-going quality improvement efforts for processes

§  Serve as a subject matter expert on all client related topics

§  Clearly communicate internally and externally to ensure business requirements line up with project scope

§  Deliver analysis documentation by identifying requirements and meeting with client

§  Ensure all technical design specifications meet business requirements and are in lign with client expectations

§  Assist QA with information on test cases and scenarios to ensure they meet requirements as needed

§  Lead the client in test execution (approval)

§  System changes, translating business objectives into business requirements, performing analysis such as screen and functional design, business processes, and the end-to-end mapping of data processing flows for both inbound and outbound data feeds.

§  Serve as a link between the business (PM) and technical teams (QA and Dev) to ensure technical understanding of the appropriate business requirements

§  Provide insight to alternative means of meeting business needs

§  Thoroughly document the project progress

§  Adhere to contractual obligations

§  Managing BM-software implementation in worldwide projects independently from concept to acceptance phase from functional and technical point of view

§  Customer requirements elicitation, concept creation and functional/technical alignment with internal/external contacts

§  Clarify project goals, conduct IT-project plan (incl. resource management and risk analysis)

§  Close alignment with other project managers, business and IT customer contacts and responsible for high customer satisfaction

§  Responsibility to discuss, implement and develop project requirements with the project team and/or development team

·       ASE DS/VIE Products & Solutions Team

Knowledge, qualifications and experience:

·       Sound MS Office Knowledge

·       Very good understanding of the SQL Server platform and relational databases

·       Sound technical education (seconardy technical schools, university)

·       Experienced in process oriented It service management (ITIL, SCRUM)

·       Management of Financial Resources

·       Resource Management

·       Time Management

·       Good understanding of Accountancy principles

·       At least 2 years of professional experience in a similar role

·       Versed in handling IT projects and process-oriented work style

·       Distinct analytical and communications skills

·       Self-reliant, reliable and pronounced collaboration skills

·       Knowledge in Microsoft Project/Visio

·       Experience in SQL (development perspective)

·       PM-certificate of advantage (PMI, IPMA)

·       Experience in IT-requirements engineering and IT-Change Management

·       Very good command of German and English in word and script
