Bluestones staffing is working with a leading Manufacturing / Chemical Plant in Manchester.

Due to continued success we are recruiting a Quality Assurance Manager to assist the Head of Quality and Compliance.


Our client is a leading manuracturer of high performance, speciality materials and chemcials in the Healthcare, Catalysus and Areospace market, operating to ISO13485:2016, ISO9001:2015, IATF16949, AS1900 REVD.

You will be a key influencer in standardisation and simplification of the Quality Management Systems across the company due to a merger.  You will demonstrate excellent teamwork to provide quality accurance support and direction for all areas of the business.

Main Responsibilities:

Work safely and comply with all company HSE requirements.

Manage the QMS system through development and review of quality assurance documentation; with specific focus on the areas operated to ISO13485:2016 and ISO 9001:2015 although you may be asked to work on other standards.

Establish efficient and effective companywide processes and procedures through the Quality Management System that meet business needs and achieve set targets.

Take responsibility for the Quality Assurance and Compliance Scorecard and implement any CAPA to meet agreed departmental KPI’s.

Foster continuous improvement throughout the company working with Management.

Manage internal audits and audits of external suppliers and sub contracted processes.

Control the preparation and management of third party and certified body audits and develop CAPA plans taking accountability for rapid and effective closure.

Drive compliance with Company, State, Federal and other laws and guidelines.

Work with the Company’s Intranet, SharePoint and ERP systems.
Liaise with Quality Managers and other third parties over quality related issues.

Develop and deliver internal regular training and updates to the business on quality assurance initiatives and activities.

Put the customer first in all your day to day activities.

Continuously strive to exceed customer expectations.
