Duration:  9 months with possible extension

Location: Craigavon

Salary:     £27,741 – £29,577

Hrs:         £9am – 5pm Monday to Friday

Job Purpose:

The post holder will be responsible. as a member of a multi-skilled team, for a wide range of duties associated with Budgets, VAT, expenditure analysis, treasury management, fixed assets, capital management reports and the annual accounts.  The post holder will be required to provide support to senior managers and to operate all systems within the Finance Department although it is expected that the main duties will focus on core ledgers.

Main Duties:

  • Compile and prepare reports on financial management information for presentation to senior managers, heads of department, executive management team and council committees.
  • Prepare, consolidate and co-ordinate expenditure and budgetary information for monthly management reports, the rates-setting process, the annual abstract of accounts and ad-hoc exercises.
  • Carry out month-end and year-end close-down routines within he finance office in accordance with agreed procedures and timetables.
  • Prepare bank accountant reconciliations across all council bank accountants
  • Assist in the annual abstract of accounts process, including the provision of information.
  • Assist with the preparation of monthly management reports.

Key purpose of the job:

The digital communications officer will work in the Corporate communications team.  You will be responsible for the management of digital activity, development of engaging digital content including video, the monitoring and analysis of social media activity both internally and externally, promotion of the council through digital communications utilizing the website, intranet and social media platforms.

The post holder will be required to carry out some evening and weekend work in line with the job requirements:

Key duties and responsibilities:

  • Work with the Head of Service to develop digital communications strategy and policies for the council, across council departments, to support the aims and objectives of the council.
  • Create and implement digital campaign, developing engaging content and coordinating day to day activities across a range of online platforms.
  • Provide and deliver training and support in relation to effective digital communications.
  • Manage the councils presence on council-owned social networking sites including Facebook, Twitter and other similar sites, posting on relevant blogs.

Job Description:

I am requiring a highly capable PPC (Biddable) manager to support our clients Digital Performance Director in managing the increasing number of client accounts that we winning.  The successful candidate can expect to have responsibility from the start, in managing the end to end PPC and Biddable requirements.

Key responsibilities:

You will be responsible for the end-to-end management of campaigns for clients. This entails:

  • Thorough initial research:
  • using relevant tools & resources (Google Ad Planners, Think With Google, etc) to understand industry trends & context;
  • engaging stakeholders in order to better understand brands, audiences, etc.
  • analysing historic performance.
  • Comprehensive campaign planning:

    • briefing creative teams to ensure excellent asset & advert development.

    • Assisting the Director in rolling out Tag Management solutions.
      Continuous monitoring & optimisation of live campaigns:budget management across multiple clients and campaigns using our proprietary software,
    • ensuring they deliver within budget;
    • continuous monitoring of KPIs & metrics to ensure they deliver as planned, across Ad platforms and Web/App Analytics;
      developing & actioning optimisation plans.
    • Proactive evolution of campaign strategy & tactics, as appropriate;

    • End-of-campaign reports that provides deep-dive analysis, learnings & future recommendations, “closing the loop” by providing insights for future campaigns;
    • In addition to the above, you will be responsible for:
  • Management & co-ordination of junior executives alongside the Director:weekly management of tasks, ensuring timely project delivery;
  • ensuring team output is of satisfactory quality;
    training as required.
  • Supporting the Director in prospective project development as required:industry & audience research, plus campaign audits;

  • You will be asked to complete a series of Google Ads exams within the first few months of joining & are expected to keep these continuously up to date.

Essential Criteria:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a role where PPC is the dominant day-to-day role;
  • Fluency with Google Ads and Google Analytics;
    Solid digital marketing knowledge and understanding of what makes marketing win;
  • Confident individual who can meet, manage and exceed client expectations;
  • Proven ability to measure, analyse and evaluate the success of online marketing;
  • Strong analytical skills and a data-driven mindset;
  • Impeccable communication skills;
  • Excellent written communication skills and grasp of search copywriting best practice;
